Lead AI Architect (d/f/m)

4flow software develops a range of global standard software products for logistics and transportation planning that can be applied across all industries. The integrated planning approach of our software products ranges from the long-term optimization of network structures to the short-term optimization of transportation capacity utilization. In addition, planning results can be combined with transportation processing and accounting for integrated transportation management. Here, you will work at the intersection of logistics, technology, and compliance, driving product discovery and delivery.

• Lead the architectural vision and strategic direction for AI and machine learning systems across a distributed team in India and Europe.

• Architect unified, scalable and secure AI systems that supports international data sovereignty and regional privacy regulations.

• Influence 4flows product direction through clear, compelling presentations to management and stakeholders.

• Evaluate and select tools, frameworks and platforms for AI development, deployment and LLMOps.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI and engineering teams.

• Drive knowledge sharing, contribute best practices and foster continuous learning across teams.

• Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and trends to drive innovation.

To be successful in this position, we believe you should possess the following attributes:

• Around 8 years of experience in system design and architecture, including at least 4 years focused specifically on AI/ML architecture

• Proven expertise in building and scaling agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI)

• A deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning and LLMOps practices

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in Python and familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Hugging Face

• Experience in mentoring cross-functional teams and leading technical projects from concept to production deployment

• Ability to distinguish between AI hype and high-impact business use cases

• Comfortable with the “fail fast” nature of AI research while maintaining a clear path to production
